      Workshop a great success!

Thanks so much to all who joined the Shamanic Art rattle-making class at the annual Pennsylvania Gourd Festival, which was held June 12 and 13 at Eli Smucker's Gourd Farm, a wonderful Amish farm in the heart of Lancaster, Pa. Shamanic Art has been invited back next year, and we're already looking forward to it! See some of the results of this year's great work, below:

Hard at work, some of the rattle-crafters file and chisel what will become beautiful handels.

For information about this and other events, visit the official website of the Pennsylvania Gourd Society at www.pagourdsociety.org.

Shaman Circle

For information about having a shaman circle in your home in south central PA, contact us through this site or via email at: shamanicart@yahoo.com  Any level of experience is welcome. There is no charge.

Your guests should bring eye-covering, a journal to write in and a healthy snack to share. Some folks also like to bring a pillow and throw-style blanket for their comfort during journey time. Rattles are welcome.

We employ the live-drumming style of the shamanic journey with a variety of purposes (or shamanic intention). Come ready to work together, and with Spirit, for the betterment of yourselves and your planet.

 A home for Maura

The Shamanic Art workshop sprite Maura now occupies her new gourd abode. Several pictures of the construction phase are posted in the Photo Gallery under the heading of projects.

Tudor style without, stucco look within, are makings of a stately gourd home with plenty of "spritely" charm.
